JoAnne J. Moen, age 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 with her husband by her side at her home.

JoAnne was born on March 7, 1934 in Evansville, the daughter to Jinks and Gertrude ( Feldt) Trunkhill. Joanne graduated from Evansville High School in 1951. After graduation she attended the Grace Downs Airline Career School in NYC and then she later became a stewardess for North Central Airlines. On May 8, 1954 in Dubuque, Iowa, she was united in marriage to Duane Moen. Once they were married JoAnne worked for many employers but retired from the Department of Natural Resources. JoAnne enjoyed crafts, knitting , crocheting, card playing and square dancing

JoAnne is survived by her husband of 60 years Duane; daughter Judy ( Karson) Klund, son Jerry ( Sue); and daughter Andrea Moen; 6 grandchildren Casey and Pat Klund, Katie, Jeffrey, Emily and Christopher Moen; two great grandchildren Tyler and Derrick Klund; sister Marlys Trunkhill ( Paul Klapatch) and brother Richard Jinks Trunkhill; she also leaves behind numerous extended family.

A memorial service for JoAnne will be held at The Tree of Life Chapel at Oakwood Village East, 5565 Tancho Drive, Madison on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Marsha Swenson presiding. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services on Monday.
