"Joe" Leung

Madison - Joe Leung, age 61, passed away due to complications from cancer on Saturday, July 14, 2012, at Agrace HospiceCare. Joe was born in Hong Kong on August 14, 1950. He married Stella (Or) Leung in 1976. The Leung family proudly owned Ruby Restaurant for 35 years and Joe loved to serve his customers. The Leung family would like to thank all of their customers for their support and loyalty throughout the years. Joe's hobbies included music, traveling, gardening, and cooking. Joe will be missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Joe was survived by his wife, Stella; son, Hoffman; daughter, Rani (Kane Sivesind); siblings: Tony, Mia, David, and John; and many nephews and nieces, who considered him their favorite uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kwok Ki (Tony) Leung and Sam Sou Chan, and nephew, Michael. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Fri., July 20, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. at ST. MARIA GORETTI CATHOLIC PARISH, 5313 Flad Ave., Madison with Father Chad Droessler officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. There will be a visitation for family and friends at 9:30 a.m. preceding the service. The family of Joe would like to thank the staff of GHC Clinic, Agrace HospiceCare, and UW Hospital, especially the Oncology and ID unit for their months of support and care. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Joe's name to The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation ( www.cholangiocarcinoma.org ).
