John Anderson

Stoughton- John W. Anderson, age 48, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 9, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was born in Edgerton on November 23, 1966, the son of Raymond and Norma Anderson. John enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1985 and served his country honorably while stationed in Germany. John enjoyed spending time on his Harley and taught his daughter and his grandchildren how to ride. He loved to buy 4 wheelers and motorcycles that were in disrepair, fix them, and sell them. On November 8, 2002 John met his future wife Kathi on a dating line. On November 8, 2011 they were married in Las Vegas. John is survived by his wife, Kathi; son, Shamus Weber; daughters, Courtney, Jordan, and Marenna; four grandchildren, Dion, Janiya, Devontae, and D'Angelo; beloved canine companion, Max; brothers, Raymond (Cheryl), Arnie (Candy), and David; sisters, Lori and Roseanne; many nieces and nephews; extended relatives; and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, James. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton. John will be laid to rest with his parents at Lutheran Cemetery South. Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon at the Stoughton VFW immediately following the services. Friends may greet the family from 11:00 AM until the time of services Saturday at Cress. A special thank you to Dr. Robert Hegeman and his nurse Karen for their constant care and support, to the staff of Agrace HospiceCare Inc., and to John's sister Lori for her support to keep John comfortable at home.
