John Erickson

John R. Erickson passed away at home surrounded by his family the morning of Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at age 81. John was born in Rockford, Ill on December 27, 1929 the son of the late John E. and Cora (Limoseth) Erickson. He graduated from Madison West High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He worked as the Director of Operations for the University of Wisconsin's Physical Plant for 35 years until his retirement. John is a veteran having served with the U.S. Air National Guard during the Korean War.

John is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Pat; two daughters, Carol (Jon) Lashua and Nancy (Tom) Lorrig; and four grandchildren, Spencer, Brandon, Ryan and Emily all of Madison. He was preceded in death by his parents.
