John Wayne ""J.W' Jackson, age 69 of Deerfield, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Raymond House in DeForest.  He was born in Brodhead on February 7, 1940, a son of the late Wayne and Ellen (Hawkins) Jackson.  J.W. served his country in the Army.  On February 20, 1970, he was united in marriage to Janet Krause.  J.W. worked as an Iron Worker, and was a  member of local #383.  He enjoyed rodeos, and also worked as a farrier.  He is survived by his wife, Janet; 2 sons, Bryon (Rhonda) Schumacher, and Justin Jackson; 2 daughters, Wanda (Richard) Dow and Tammi (Tim) Roach; 3 grandchildren, Cody Schumacher, and R.W. and Brandi Jackson; a great-grandchild, Ryder Jackson; 5 sisters, Shirley Gray, Mary Schmid, Wilma Pautsch, Hilda Smith, and Nancy (Phil) Zweig.  He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Merle and Rodney Jackson.  Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 18, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home in Deerfield with the Rev. Vivian Meier officiating.  The family will greet friends there from 1:00 pm until the time of service.  Special thanks to the staff at Raymond House and HospiceCare Inc.
