We would like to say a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the UW- Hospital who had such compassion and took wonderful care of John. We would also like to thank Dr. Niti Aggarwal and Dr. Amy Grelle for their care and concern through this difficult time.
What we would give if we could say, "Hello Dad! "or Hello Grandpa!" in the same old way.
To hear your voice, see you smile, to sit with you and chat awhile.
So you who have a father or grandfather, cherish him with care
For you'll never know the heartache, till you see his vacant chair.
In life we loved you dearly, In death we love you still.
In our hearts you hold a memory, no one can ever fill.
It breaks our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
