John Parish

Sun Prairie - John Frank "Mac" Parish, age 64, passed away at his home on Thursday, December 6, 2018. He was born on May 26, 1954 in Fort Riley, Kansas, the son of George and Helen (Riising) Parish.

Mac attend Madison East High School and went on to become ASC certified and received a degree as a diesel trucking technician from MATC. Mac began his own business in 1987, called Budget Overhaul. He worked extremely hard to establish his business and was entirely proud of his accomplishments. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles, going to car shows and most of all spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends.
Mac was a longtime member of the Break-A-Ways Motorcycle Club. He had such an unbelievable range of brothers, friends and acquaintances that it would be impossible to list everyone who touched his life.

He is survived by his three children; John, Jesse and Christina Parish, the love of his life; Pamela Hoeksema, three grandchildren; Kayla, Jesse Jr. and Terry, and three brothers; Ed, George, and Tom Parish. He is also survived by many other loving family and numerous friends.

Mac was preceded in death by his parents, wife Terry Parish, brother and sister-in-law Hank and Nancy Parish, and niece Sarah Parish.

Funeral services will be held at CRESS FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICE, 3325 E. Washington Ave., Madison on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 7:00 pm. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 pm until the time of service. Graveside services will be held at Middleton Junction Cemetery, Middleton, Wisconsin on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 12 Noon. The family will be processing from Cress Funeral & Cremation Service, 3325 E. Washington Avenue, Madison, WI to the cemetery on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 10:45 am.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of John to the American Heart Association, 2850 World Dairy Drive #130, Madison, WI 53718.
