John E. Pederson

John E. Pederson, age 74, died Sunday October 24, 2010 at HospiceCare in Fitchburg.  He was born July 11, 1936, in Valley City, ND, the son of John and Mary (Gilbertson) Pederson.  Prior to his retirement, John had been employed by Clark Oil Co. as a territory sales manager; he also drove trucks and was a school custodian.  He was a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Korea Conflict.  On December 7, 1985, John was united in marriage with Judy Gosdeck in Columbia Falls, Montana.   In addition to his wife Judy of Marshall, survivors include 4 children: Sandy (Dave Robbins) Scheurer of Lincoln, IL; Carol (Steve) Newman of Lake Forest, IL; Lyrae (Dave) Nadolski of Sun Prairie and Shawn (Barb) Arnold of Marshall; 12 grandchildren: Jacquelyn, Bryson, Blaine, Jazmyn, Brian, Eric, Melyna, Madelyn, Mitchell, Elizabeth, Kalinda and Dante; 1 brother: Pete (Mary) Pederson of Lakeside, MT and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and his step father.   There will be no local services.
