John Thomas Herrick passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on May 11, 2023. He was born on November 25, 1943, in Stevens Point to Herman and Alice (Finnessy) Herrick.

John was a proud veteran of the United States Army and worked at the United States Post Office until his retirement. John enjoyed cheering on the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and Wisconsin Badgers. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.  John loved his family and was a devoted and loving father to three daughters.

He is survived by his wife, Corinne of Columbus; children, Carrie Herrick of Sun Prairie, Pamala Herrick of Monona, and Sheila Sloan of Sun Prairie; grandchildren, Jonathan (Kristina) Herrick, Taylor Dixon, and Olivia Nelson; great grandchild, Sylvia Herrick; siblings, Shirley Plasky, Jim (Elaine), Jerome, Linda Hungerford, David (Sharon), Jeff, Keith (Doreen); other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Janice Tollefson; twin brother, Joseph; brother-in-law, Raymond Plasky; nephew, Brian and niece, Cheryl.
