Jon J. Heller, age 60, passed away suddenly on April 16, 2020.He was born on July 22, 1959 in Madison, WI, the son of George H. Sr. and June D. Heller.
After graduating from Sun Prairie High School, Jon went to work for his father at Heller’s Carbonics. He joined the Air Force and served from 1980 to 1984. Jon eventually started his own multi-faceted business. The legacy of Heller’s Junk Removal will be carried on through his son.
Jon enjoyed tropical vacations where he could go deep sea diving, often with some of his siblings. He also enjoyed grilling out and any time spent with his large family and numerous friends. He loved his family hard, especially the light of his life, his grandchildren. Jon had a great sense of humor, loved a good-hearted debate between friends and was very hard working.
Jon is survived by his life partner, Carol Driese; son Jon T. Heller; step-children Dawn (Kirk) Selbrede, Steve Meadowcroft, Kay Guild, Sheena (Joe Burdick) Driese, Joleen Driese, Andrea (Kevin) Johnson; grandchildren Jayla, Mimi, Jennifer (Steve), Kirk II, Melissa, Luke, Ty, David, McKayla, Jordyn, Alexa, Keiara, Addison, Kaylee and Megan; siblings George (Kathy) Heller, Jr., Caryl Heller, Tricia Allen, Lori Melton, Geneva (Rick Tucker) Heller; Deanna Heller; Cheryl (Douglas) Landphier; Alan Heller and Jay (Dorothy) Heller; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, life partner Louise Droster, nephews Jacob Holland and Anthony Heller and great niece Anna Lee McCormick.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date when we may all gather again. In lieu of flowers, condolences may be sent to his family:
