Jonathan Anderson

Sun Prairie – Jonathan M. “Jon” Anderson, age 40, passed away on Saturday November 28, 2020.  Jon was born March 12, 1980 in Portage to Michael and Julie Anderson.

He was the funniest, sweetest and most caring man you would ever meet.  Jon loved his family and spending time with his nieces and nephews.  He enjoyed action movies, reading about religions and philosophy and loved animals.

Jon is a 2004 graduate of the UW Madison with a degree in Religious Studies and was currently at Madison College pursuing an accounting degree.  While pursuing his dream of an aspiring writer, he worked part time as a sales associate at Walmart.

Jon is survived by his father Michael Anderson; 2 sisters Alyssa (Lynn) Reas and Kristin (Joe) Rizzuto; 5 nieces and nephews Benjamin and Matthew Reas, Joshua, Isabella and Jada Rizzuto; and is further survived by Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother Julie Anderson and his grandparents.

A funeral will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday December 10, 2020 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie.  Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the service at the funeral home on Thursday.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, or to the Dane County Humane Society.
