Jonathan Luskin

Jonathan Reid Luskin, age 25 years, was born on December 30, 1992, and died on June 23, 2018, after a hiking accident in Slovenia. He is the son of Susan Stone and Allan Luskin. He was a 2011 graduate of Middleton High School and a 2014 graduate of Washington University in St. Louis. He worked as a chemistry tutor/teacher in Hong Kong. He is survived by his parents who reside in Madison, WI; brothers Ben Luskin (Madison), Andrew Luskin (Seattle), and Joshua (Cynthia) Luskin (Chicago); sister Kate (Mitch Siefert) Luskin (San Diego); and grandmother Sue Stone (Pilot Mountain, NC); along with several uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ruth (Katz) and Bert Luskin, and his maternal grandfather, Joe Stone. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2019, at 10:00 at Cress Funeral and Cremation Service, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison, WI 53705. Susan will take visitors at her home, 405 N. Franklin Avenue, Madison, WI 53705, on Sunday, January 20, 2019 and Monday, January 21, 2019 from 4:00 to 6:00. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made to Amnesty International, Kiva or the Sierra Club.
