Joseph R. Freidel

Beaver Dam/Sun Prairie- Joseph R. ""Joe"" Freidel, age 52, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 8, 2011 at Hillside Manor, Beaver Dam. He was born on December 5, 1958 in Madison the son of Donald Wm. & Ilene (Johnson) Freidel. In his spare time he loved the outdoors, camping, fishing or just enjoying nature. Joseph was the original ""Gear Head"" tackling any project that was associated with machines. He is survived by his daughter, Janelle (Dan) Cashmore; his son, Michael Freidel; his granddaughters, Savannah and Shilo; his mother, Ilene Freidel; his sister, Deborah (Robert) Whelan; his brothers, William (Monika) Freidel and Thomas (Joan) Freidel; his former wife and mother of his children, Joy Parker; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and twin sister, MaryAnn. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cress Funeral Home, Sun Prairie with Pastor Dan Herman presiding. A time of gathering will be held on Monday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. The family would like to thank the staffs at Hillside Manor, Beaver Dam and University Hospital for their wonderful care, treatment and concerns.
