Jossica Donaldson

Madison - Beloved JOSSICA "Josie" Mae (Basdon) Donaldson born July 8, 1923 to James Basdon and Nancy Love of Winona Mississippi, passed on to join her husband Pastor Elmer Donaldson on December 16 at Oak Park Nursing Home, Madison WI.
A Wisconsin resident since 1941, she is survived by her brother Odis Basdon of Seattle, Washington and six sons, Nathaniel Ellis (Madison); Elwin (Janesville), Melvin (Madison), Steven (California), David (Montana) and James (California) Donaldson, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren. Josie, a licensed Evangelist, enjoyed speaking of God's love and singing with the Gospelettes for many years.
Mrs. Donaldson retired from being nurses aid of thirty years for the Wisconsin health system.

A funeral service will be held at MT. ZION BAPTIST CHURCH, 2019 Fisher St., Madison, on Thursday, December 29, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Richard L. Jones presiding. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. A visitation will be held at church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
