Joyce M Gorwitz

Gorwitz, Joyce   Madison/Oshkosh:   Joyce Gorwitz, age 81, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 8, 2008 at HospiceCare in Fitchburg.   She was born on July 17, 1927, the daughter of   Frank W. and Anna (Rasmussen) Reidhauser in Neenah.   She was united in marriage to Sam Gorwitz in Oshkosh in 1955.   Sam passed away on March 11, 2003. Joyce received her Masters of Science in Nursing from UW Oshkosh.   She was employed as a Psychiatric Nurse at Winnebago Mental Health, and also was a Public Health Nurse at La Clinica de Los Campesinos.   She loved gardening, enjoyed music and was an amazing cook.   Joyce was a member of Temple B'nai Israel in Oshkosh.   She is survived by her son David (Lori) Gorwitz, Madison, daughters; Dr. Rachel (Eugenio Beltran) Gorwitz, Atlanta, GA, Sarah (Andrew) Kalnajs, Madison, two cherished granddaughters; Samantha and Marisa, a sister Edith (Carlos) Parsloe, Sao Paulo, Brazil,   a dear special friend; Ramona Villareal, and nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Sam and a sister Ruth Gutschow, and Brother Frank J. Reidhauser. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Lake View Memorial Cemetery in Oshkosh.   The family suggests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions may be made to HospiceCare Inc., 5395 E.
