Juanita Norma Gall

MadisonJuanita Norma Gall, age 96, died on November 15, 2010 at The Ashwabay House in Madison.   She was born January 14, 1914 in Baraboo, the daughter of Frank Coates and Lovilla (Northrup) Coates. Juanita graduated from Baraboo High School and married Hilmer Gall of North Freedom, on May 18, 1940.   Juanita was employed as a telephone operator for the Bell System in Baraboo and later in Madison. She also worked for the University of Wisconsin telephone office and the UW College of Agriculture until her retirement in 1979.   Her greatest loves were music, reading and her health permitting, gardening. She was a member of Lake View Moravian Community Church.   Juanita is survived by her son, Steve of Madison; a granddaughter, Anita White of Stoughton and a great-grandson, Gage White of Stoughton.   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a sister, Marjorie; and three brothers, Frank Jr., Carl, and Max Coates Sr., all of Baraboo.   Funeral Service will be held Sunday, November 21, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Lake View Moravian Community Church, 3565 Tulane Ave. Madison, with Rev. Stacie Marrese-Wheeler,.
