Juanita Sadowski

EDGERTON/ WAUNAKEE - Juanita O. Sadowski, age 101, passed away Monday morning, February 11, 2013 at Waunakee Manor Health Care Center, surrounded by her family.
She was born July 15, 1911, in Urbana, IL to Louie and Amanda Bryant. On April 16, 1932, she was united in marriage to Andrew F. Sadowski. Andrew preceded her in death on May 30, 1971. She loved playing piano, reading, playing cards, sewing, and most of all, spending time with her family.
Juanita is survived by her children, Andrew (Marcella) Sadowski of Benbrook, TX, Robert (Dolores) Sadowski of Belleview, IL, Barbara (Bill) Marsh of West Carrollton, OH, and Gail (Mark) Bennett of Waunakee, WI, grandchildren, Kyle (Jaime) Bennett, Kari (Dan) Heldmann, and Chris Bennett, Bonnie (Mike) Lannoy, Dean (Bobbi) Haried, Debbie (Matt) Richardson, Brad Haried, Darren Haried, Paul (JoAnn) Sadowski, Rick (Tracy) Sadowski, Tania (Adam) Evans, Mike (Phyllis) Sadowski, Karen Sadowski, Cathy (Jack) Fisher, Bruce (Carol) Sadowski, Kelly (Al) Moyers; 28 great-grandchildren, and 26 great-great-grandchildren. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and one sister.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CATHOLIC CHURCH, 209 South Street, Waunakee, WI, at 11 AM on Friday, February 15, 2013, with Monsignor Gunn presiding. Visitation will take place at Winn-Cress Funeral Home in Waunakee, from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2013 and at the church from 10 AM to time of service on Friday. The family would like to thank the staff at Waunakee Manor for the wonderful care they gave Juanita for the past four years.
Mom/Grandma Okey-Dokey, we will love and miss you always. God would only allow a soul as beautiful as yours to stay on earth for 101 years! You were truly our inspiration. You said you were ready to hear the angels sing, so now you are up in heaven harmonizing with them and probably accompanying them on the piano.
