Marx, Judith "Judy" (Acker)

Cross Plains: Judy Marx, age 64, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 12, 2016 after an extended illness. She was born on January 29, 1952 in Madison, the daughter of Marilyn and Gregory Acker. She married Ron Marx on October 28, 1972 at St. Peter's Church in Ashton.

Judy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ron, and their son, Scott. She is further survived by her mother, Marilyn; three sisters, Carolyn (Jerry) Maier, Jean (LaVerne) Hensen, and Shirley Acker, and two brothers, Ron and Reg (Lynn) Acker. She is also survived by her father-in-law, George Marx, and in-laws, Arlene Breunig, Ileen (Mike) Schwarz, Carl (Kathy) Wackerle, Diane (Tom) Alt, Sandy (Paul) Hellenbrand, and Keith Breunig; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Gregory Acker; mother-in-law Betty Marx; and in laws, Jane Wackerle, Lawrence Breunig, and Cindy Breunig.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at WINN CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 5785 Hwy Q, Waunakee, WI 53597. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at ST. MARTIN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5959 St. Martin Circle, Cross Plains, WI 53528, with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of Mass at the church. Please share a memory at www. CressFuneralService.com.
