Judy Anderson

Stoughton- Judith A. "Judy" Anderson, age 61, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Azura in Stoughton. She was born in Stoughton on September 14, 1953, the daughter of Sheldon and Mildred Stiff. Judy graduated from Stoughton High School. She married the love of her life, Dennis "Denny" Anderson. Judy worked for WPS for 26 years, and for the Stoughton VFW as a bartender for 10 years. She had a passion for horses, loved playing BINGO, and was an avid Packer and Badger fan. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Judy is survived by her son, Craig (Kris); daughter, Becca (Todd) Arvold; five grandchildren, Dylan, Samantha, Zachary, Brooke, and Jacob; two step grandchildren, Jill and Jerry; brother, Chuck (Carol) Stiff; and special friend, Jim Fosdal. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sheldon and Mildred; husband, Denny; and her beloved cat, Tommy. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 6, 2015 at Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton, with Rev. Scott Geister-Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Lutheran Cemetery South. Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon, following the burial, at the Stoughton VFW Post 328. Visitation will take place from 9:00 AM until the time of services Monday. Memorials may be made in Judy's name to the Stoughton VFW Post 328. A special thank you to Agrace HospiceCare Inc. and Azura Memory Care of Stoughton for their care and compassion.
