Julia Rodriguez

Madison - Julia Rodriguez, 91, of Madison died May 31, 2013. She is survived by her son, William Rodriguez, daughter-in-law Mary Ellen, grandson Robert, granddaughter Annemarie, and son-in-law Nate Minor. She was preceded in death by husband Robert and eleven older siblings. Julia, an avid Yankee fan, grew up in The Bronx and moved to Madison in 2002. She was a patient at Wisconsin Dialysis for nine years. Her strong spirit and positive attitude enabled her to overcome many challenges. She will be missed by all who knew her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2116 Hollister Ave, Madison, WI 53726, on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Father DePorres Durham presiding. Julia will be laid to rest at St. Raymonds Cemetery in Bronx, NY. Visitation will be held at Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Rd. Madison, WI on June 14, 2013 from 4 pm. To 7 p.m. Additional Visitation will be held at Church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
