Julie Ziegler

Sun Prairie - Julie Ann Ziegler, age 46, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020, in Sun Prairie. She was born in Madison, on July 12, 1973, daughter of Gerald and Christine (McCoy) Ziegler. She graduated from Sun Prairie High School in 1992.

Julie was a kind soul that enjoyed the simpler things in life: good food, a good book, nice people and a comfy rocking chair were some of her favorite things to spend her free time.  Julie also enjoyed swimming, reading and meeting new people.

Julie was always selfless, if you needed her for anything you did not have to ask twice as she enjoyed helping and being of service to others in any way she could, being included was an important part of that.  She was a member of Focus Church, Prairie Athletic Club and YMCA.

Julie was very diligent and hard-working having been employed for Culvers, Sun Prairie Health Care Center and Diana’s Confection Connection.

Julie is survived by her siblings; Jeniffer Hart and Gerald (Jennie) Ziegler; her aunts Dixie ( Marvin) Schwenn and Nancy ( Orvie) Cook. She also leaves behind extended family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, maternal and paternal grand-parents, sister Jody and nephew Jarred Jacobson.

Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
