Julius Grunes

December 5, 1924 — October 2, 2009

MADISON- Julius Grunes, age 84, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 2, 2009, at HospiceCare in Fitchburg.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; children: Howie (Diane) Grunes, Mitch (Shari) Grunes and Mirian (Danny Einstein) Grunes; grandchildren: Noam, Andy (Karen), Tova, Danny and Ayelet Grunes and Emmaray and Tevan Einstein; siblings, Sam Grunes, Irving (Bunny) Grunes, Anne Kasow and Harold (Priscilla) Grunes.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 5, 2009, at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison, followed by burial at Forest Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials maybe made to HospiceCare Foundation, Inc., Jewish Social Services or Beth Israel Center.
