Julius Miller

Julius Miller, age 94, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 28,2010 at Sebring Assisted Care Residence where he was cared for by loving staff and Hospice. He was born Oct 8,1915 in   New York City to Sadie and Isador Miller.   He graduated from De Witt Clinton High School in 1932.   He married Dorothy Schackter of Madison on April 6, 1941.   They lived in New York City until they retired to Madison in 1979.   Julius was preceded in death by his loving wife Dorothy on Dec 20, 2008.   Julius and Dorothy are survived by their children Alan Miller (Karen Sinclair) of Grants Pass, OR and Phyllis (Ray) Davis of Vashon, WA. and five grandchildren, Laura Miller, Simon Miller, Felicia Davis, Jesse Davis and Shane Davis.   A funeral service will be held at   11:00 am on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Rd., Madison.   Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice-Care 5395 E.
