June Sheehan

Madison - June Ann Sheehan passed away on October 1st, 2021. She was born in Sauk City, Wisconsin on June 2, 1934, and was 1 of 8 children born to Isabel and Frank Doudna.

June married Robert (Bobby) Sheehan on May 28th, 1954, and shortly thereafter joined Bob in Hawaii while he served in the Army. After they returned to Milwaukee, June and Bob built a beautiful life together, enjoying family, friends and raising their 2 children Terrance (Terry) and Kelly.

June spent many years enjoying great creative hobbies, as well as running the office of an American Family Insurance agency.  Bob and June were soul mates and were happily married for 48 years when in August of 2002 Bob passed away from Cancer.  June spent the next years enjoying traveling with friends and visiting her family in Florida and Minneapolis.

June is survived by her daughter Kelly (Kirk Geadelmann) and 3 grandsons Jack, Luke, and Ben; and Daughter in law, Lisa Sheehan. June was the “auntie” and aunt of over 40 nieces and nephews who she enjoyed throughout the years. Her niece Diane was especially important as Diane was her core caregiver in Madison, and they enjoyed many laughs together.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bob, her son Terry, her sisters Norma Reddeman, Erma Montgomery, and Marsha Meyer; her brothers William, Robert, Thornton “Duke” and Aquilla “AJ” Doudna.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. 2015 Parmenter St, Middleton, WI 53562 on Friday, October 29th, 2021. Visitation will begin at 10 am, and Mass will be held at 11 am.
