Justin Patrick Block was born on August 24, 1976, in Milwaukee,
Wisconsin. Justin was a curious and intuitive soul. He had memories of
being a very young child and those early memories shaped who he was
and how he viewed the world. At at young age, Justin displayed an
understanding of the world that others only dreamed of late in life.
Justin was a graduate of Lake Zurich High School in Lake Zurich, Illinois.
He loved music and always wanted to introduce new artists, songs and
genres to his family and friends to encourage them to learn something
new about themselves and the world around them. He had a true
affection for the arts and greatly loved poetry. He had a strong interest
in history and politics, calling out injustice when he saw it and
advocating for those most in need.
But Justin's greatest joy was his children. They were the light of his life.
He dearly loved them so. He always gave them his undivided attention
and played with them like there might not be a next time, something we
should all aim to replicate. He had many friendships that were deep like
family to him. He did not draw a line with blood. He cared deeply for
anyone lucky enough to come into his life.
Justin departed this life on November 29, 2020, and met his
grandparents Donald & Coralie Eckhardt and Clarence & Julie Block on
the other side. He will be always be remembered and cherished by His
Beloved Twins: Harper & Kingston Block; Their Mother, Kristen Heilman
Block; Mother, Candice McGrath; Father, Patrick Block; Stepmother
Julie Block; Brother, Jordan McGrath and a host of aunts, uncles,
cousins and friends.
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shephard, I shall not want.
He maketh me lie down in green pastures;
He leadeth me beside still waters.
He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the paths of
righteousness for His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow
of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of
mine enemies; thou aniontest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days
of my life; and I will dwell in the house
of the Lord forever
