Justin M. Sprague

Justin Michael Sprague, 34, left this world late afternoon on January 8th, 2024.

Justin was born to Gerald Michael Sprague (deceased) and Patricia Valencia on October 6, 1989 in Lancaster, Ohio. Justin graduated high school in 2006 from Pusan American School in Pusan, South Korea. He moved to Sun Prairie, WI in 2009 where he met his longtime partner, Lee Schroeder.

Justin was a prominent figure in the bakery department of Costco where his passion for baking and cake decorating flourished. Justin had the biggest heart and most sensitive soul. He felt things so deeply and was a gifted artist, often touching people's heart with brightly colored paint strokes. He was goofy and carried a brightness with him that has now diminished with his passing.

Those closest to Justin knew how complicated and deeply pained he was. We have chosen not to remember him for his struggles as he was a beautiful and amazing human being. We celebrate the light of Justin's smile and the happiness and warmth his laughter gave.

Justin is survived by his mother Patricia, his sister Meghan, and his fur baby, Alfie. Justin was also a wonderful uncle to his nephews, Duane and Gerald, and his niece, Harper.
