Karel M. Engels

STOUGHTON—Karel M. Engels, lifelong resident of Stoughton, age 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 13, 2024.

Karel is survived by her children: Julie A. Engels and Bill (Monica) Engels; grandchildren: Rachel (Alec) Sterling and Renee (Chris Olszewski) Engels; great-grandson: Jamie Sterling; and many loved relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband John “Jack.”

Karel will be reunited with her husband, Jack, in a private graveside service at Riverside Cemetery in Stoughton.  

Friends and family will gather on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at the Stoughton VFW Post #328, 200 Veterans Road, Stoughton, WI 53589 from 4-7:00 PM for a celebration of life for Karel.  

The family wishes to thank Azura Memory Care and Bernadette from Agrace Hospice Care for their care and compassion for Karel during her time with them.
