Katherine ""Katie"" Rosera

December 4, 1943 — May 29, 2009

Katherine ""Katie"" Rosera, age 65, died Friday afternoon, May 29, 2009 with her family by her side. She was born Dec. 4, 1943, in Green Bay, Wis. Katie graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1962. She graduated from the University of Oshkosh and taught 2nd grade for 2 years at Valley View grade school in Green Bay. Katie worked at M&I Bank on Odana Rd. for 28 years and retired on Dec. 31, 2007. Katie loved spending time with her family, flowers, reading books, visiting her children, playing with her grandsons in Indiana, and doing crossword puzzles. She enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers. Katie treasured her vacation time at her condo in Florida with her husband, sister and friends, as well as her time spent at Hillfarm pool in the summers. She was very proud of her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. Katie is survived by her husband of 40 years, Don; and two children, daughter, Kristin (Leonard) Davis and their children Gabriel and Jacob of Chesterton, IN; son,   Daniel (Stephanie) Rosera of Wichita, KS; half sister, Robin Fonferek of Green Bay, WI;   half brother, Jerry (Leesha) Rieder of Green Bay, WI; sister-in-law CarolAnn (Harold) Huempfner of Minneapolis, MN; brother-in-law Lee (Sharon) Roeser of Green Bay, WI; sister-in-law Diane (Micheal) Sturdivant of Green Bay, WI; nieces and nephews; Carey (Tim) Kennedy, Pixie (Darin) DeGrand, Nic (Skye) Millhiser, Pam (Neil) Houtkooper, Paula Huempfner, Josh (Brittany) Huempfner, Jeff Roeser, Wendy Golznig, Holly Roeser, Stacie (Randy) Baily, Craig (Holly) Sturdivant, Kipp (Lynsi) Sturdivant, Nicholas (Jillaine) Sturdivant, and other dear relatives and special friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerome Rieder; mother, Anastasia Uelman Rieder; sister, Christine Millhiser; and sister-in-law, Sharon Roeser of Houston, TX. Family and friends may call at OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 401 S. Owen Dr., with visitation at 11 a. m. and a memorial service at 12 noon, Fri. June 12, 2009 with Monsignor Kenneth Fiedler presiding. Katie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.  The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
