Kathleen Dreyer

Stoughton- Kathleen Dreyer, 72, passed away on May 4, 2017 after a long battle with illness. She was born in Mercy Hospital in Chicago, Illinois on December 13, 1944. Kathy graduated from Regina High School and continued on to receive a bachelor's degree in Nursing from Marquette University. She married Pat Dreyer on August 12, 1972 at Holy Rosary Church in Milwaukee, WI; they were married 45 wonderful years. Kathy worked as a nurse at Stoughton Hospital for 34 years. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She was also actively involved with St. Ann's Parish, MOPS, and The New Century Club. Kathy is survived by her husband Pat; sons, Michael (Becky) Dreyer, Dan (Melinda Schoenberger), and Kevin (Larissa) Dreyer; grandchildren, Trinity, Brenna, and Cormac Dreyer, and Otis and Emmett Dreyer; brothers, Michael (Susie) Welsh, Pat (Sharon) Welsh, Tim (Sue) Welsh, Brian (Rebecca) Welsh, Dan Welsh; sisters, Rosemary (George) Gerharz, Margaret (Bob) Walther, Eileen Welsh, and Maureen Welsh; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Edith Welsh. A gathering of family and friends will take place at 9:00 AM on Monday, May 8, 2017 at St. Ann's Church in Stoughton, with a memorial Mass to follow at 11:00am. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon, following the burial, in Healy Hall at church. Memorials may be made to www.PSP.org .
