Kathleen Kellnhofer

Kathleen A. Kellnhofer, age 58, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 18, 2011, with her loving family at her side. She was born August 17, 1953 the daughter of Maurice and Rosemary (Weber) Weist in Lancaster. Kathleen was a 1971 graduate of Cassville High School, grew up in Cassville, and later moved to Madison where she lived until 1971. Kathleen was united in marriage to Walter "Wally" Kellnhofer on May 18, 1991, and they settled in Edgerton. She was employed as an accounting clerk at Oscar Mayer for 33 years until her retirement in 2006. Kathleen loved spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, and tending to the farm. She also liked to travel and was known for her great sense of humor. Kathleen was a member of Rockdale Lutheran Church, and the Ladies Aide-WELCA. She is survived by her husband, Wally; children, Jason (Diane) Kellnhofer, Stoughton, and Jamie (Richard) Procter, Jr., Stoughton, her cherished grandchildren, Jacob, Karlee, Alayna, Lilliana, Hailee, and Evey, mother Rosemary Weist, Cassville, her sisters, Sharon (Doug) Richmond, Lodi, Deb (Ron) Walker, Soldotna, Alaska, Sandra (Bob) Kress, McFarland, brothers, Larry Weist, Cassville, Dan (Linda) Weist, Lancaster, mother-in-law, Berdine Kellnhofer, Stoughton, sister-in-law, Roseann (Bryan) Peth, Marinette, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Maurice Weist. A visitation will be held from 4 until 7 pm on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home, 206 W. Prospect, Stoughton, WI. A memorial service will be held at 11am at WEST KOSHKONONG LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1911 Koshkonong Road, Stoughton, WI 53589, with Rev Richard Dowling officiating. The family will greet friends from 10am until the time of service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made in Kathleen's name to Agrace HospiceCare Inc., or Rockdale Lutheran Church.
