Kathleen Macmillan

Kathleen “Kass” Wright Macmillan, age 71 of Madison, WI passed away on January 29, 2022. She was born on February 11, 1950 in Madison, the daughter of Alice Dorothea and Emery H. MacMillan. Kass was a red-headed lady of some mystery and great generosity, she was a wonderful cook, a computer whiz and spoke Cantonese. Kass worked as an IT person for the Department of Transportation for many years, loved her work (mostly) and her co-workers very much. She had a fine sense of humor. She was a graduate of the U.W. with a Bachelor’s in Philosophy w/ much additional study. Kass organized one of the first group trips to China shortly after President Nixon opened up relations between the two countries. She is survived by her siblings Mary J and William H. MacMillan and preceded in death by her parents.
