Kathleen Swenson

Stoughton- Stoughton- Kathleen Rae Swenson (Elliott), age 66, of Stoughton, passed away on February 14, 2013 surrounded by her loving family, after a long and brave battle with leukemia.
Kathleen was born March 26, 1946 in Stoughton to Arnold and Anna Swenson. She grew up and lived in Stoughton most of her life. During the last few years, she lived with her daughter and son-in-law in Wisconsin Dells.
On Sept. 26, 1970 Kathleen wed Dale Elliott in Stoughton and was married for more than 38 years. She worked for a time at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison and then became a homemaker for her family once her children were born. Kathleen enjoyed spending time with family, watching over her grandchildren, crocheting, and talking with friends.
Kathleen is survived by her son, Les (Jennifer) Elliott of DeForest; daughter, Lisa (John) O'Leary of Wisconsin Dells; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and three sisters, Elaine (Glenn) Morrick of Belleville, Virgene (Eugene) Hartl of Stoughton, and Barbara Austin of Stoughton.
A celebration of her life will take place at 12 noon on Friday, March 1, 2013 at Cress Funeral Home, 206 W. Prospect Street, with Rev. Jerry Pribbenow officiating. Friends may greet the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services on Friday.
