Kathryn Eleanor Newberry

Madison - Kathryn Eleanor nee Shoemaker (Duncan) Newberry, age 92, artist and widow of Dr. John Strong Newberry Jr. died on Sun. July 3, 2011 at St. Mary's Care Center.
Mrs. Newberry was born Dec. 30, 1918, the second of three children to William W. and Hazel B. Shoemaker of Waynesboro, Penn. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Madison.
She is survived by her brother, William S. Shoemaker of Waynesboro Penn. and her stepdaughter Dr. Gillian Newberry of Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her name to Mobile Meals of Madison.
