Kathryn ""Kay"" Parisi, age 83, died peacefully in the early morning hours of April 13, 2010, at the Willow Pointe Memory Care Center in Verona, WI, after a battle with Alzheimer's.  Kay was born on August 3, 1926, in Madison to Clarence and Eunice (Fravel) Walker.  She graduated from Madison East High School in Madison.  She married Ross V. Parisi on June 30, 1945.  She was an avid fan of UW Football and Hockey.  She enjoyed bowling, doing needle work/crafts and loved chocolate, especially her bismarck doughnuts.  She did office work at Farm Bureau for several years before she and her husband opened Parisi's Bar & Grill where she did the bookkeeping and prepared the chili and soups.  She is survived by her son Tom Parisi and his wife Sue Parisi of Madison; son-in-law  Roy Ehrhart of Anchorage, AK; granddaughter Jennifer (Kevin) Yanke of Jefferson, WI; grandsons Vince Parisi of Madison, and Curt (Jennifer) Ehrhart of Anchorage, AK; great-grandchildren; Dustin, Tyler, Ivan, Logan and Zoey.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Eugene, husband Ross, her daughter Lynda Ehrhart, and her granddaughter Debbie Ehrhart  Funeral services will be held Friday, April 16, 2010, at Cress Funeral & Cremation Services, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm -- 2:30 pm with a short memorial service to be held at 2:30 pm.  Burial will be held immediately following the memorial service at Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to HospiceCare Inc., 5395 E. Cheryl Pkwy., Madison, WI  53711.   The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at the Willow Point Memory Care Center for their loving care of Kay.  We would also like to show our appreciation to the wonderful care she received from Hospice Care, Inc. in her final days.
