Stoughton – Keith A. Kvalheim, age 79, passed away on Fri Oct 21, 2022, in Madison. He was born May 25, 1943, in Stoughton to the late Arthur and Ethel Kvalheim. Keith married Fannie J. Gillis at Our Savior’s Lutheran church in Stoughton in 1964. Keith retired after working 44 years in the telephone industry and had also worked as a part-time dispatcher for the Monona Police Department for 19 years.
He was a very social person and enjoyed going to the Stoughton Senior Center for many years to work in their woodshop. Keith loved hunting for fox, coyotes, and especially deer; and enjoyed fishing for salmon and pan fish.
Keith is survived by his wife of 58 years Fannie; sons: Scott (Toni) Kvalheim, Kevin (Kristie) Kvalheim, Jason (Jennifer) Kvalheim; 6 grandchildren; a brother Gary (Kathy) Kvalheim; and is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday October 27, 2022, at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 206 W. Prospect St. Stoughton. Burial will follow at Lutheran Cemetery South. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM the service at the funeral home on Thursday.
