Madison - Keith J. Whalen, age 53, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017, at UW Hospital in Madison. He was born on December 11, 1963, in Chicago, IL, the son of Jackson and LaVerene (Trocke) Whalen. On June 11, 2016, he married Louise Hull in Madison, Wisconsin.

Keith is survived by his wife, Louise Whalen; his children, Coleen Whalen, James Whalen, Angela York, James York, and Alex Waldal, and Anthony Ross; a grandson, Jeremiah Whalen; his mother, LaVerene Whalen; and a brother, Thomas Whalen.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Bill Whalen.

Private services will be held.
