Kenneth Kellenberg

Sun Prairie - Kenneth W. Kellenberg, age 72, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, January 6, 2013. He was born on March 25, 1940 in Milwaukee, son of Walter W. and Helen A. (Jaeger) Kellenberg. On June 6, 1964 Kenneth was married to Natalie Lees at Faith Community Church in Roslyn, PA. Their greatest blessing was raising their five children. Kenneth's lifetime dedication was to be a student and teacher of the Bible. He was an instrumental part of Elmbrook Church in Brookfield, WI. He founded Faith Community Bible Church in Madison. He also held other positions throughout his life including mission work in Belgium and England, Blast Craft, Environmental Control and Di Rienzo Monument Company. Kenneth had a pastor's heart and was the true definition of a gentleman. He loved traveling and camping with his family and he was an enthusiastic collector of pens, coffee cups and books...especially the Bible. His most cherished time was spent with his grandchildren.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 48 years, Natalie Kellenberg of Sun Prairie, five children; Linda (Terry) Kellenberg Brennan of Burlingame, CA, Nancy (Robert) Winarski of Lockport, IL, Julie (Joe) Vesperman of Madison, Heidi (Jason) Hoeppner of Waukesha, Jonathan (Erin Matthew) Kellenberg of Seattle, WA, and eight grandchildren; Finn, Delaney, Alexander, Roman, Samuel, Natalia, Marissa and Peter.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Virginia Riesch.

Funeral services will be held at GOOD SHEPHERD EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 3416 Swansee Ridge, Sun Prairie on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 12 Noon with Father Mike Tess officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday at the church from 10 am. Graveside services will be held at GRACELAND CEMETERY, Milwaukee, WI on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Kenneth to Compassion International, Colorado Springs, CO 80997 (no physical street address is required).
