Kenneth Koch

Sun Prairie - Kenneth J. Koch, age 74, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017, at Waunakee Manor. He was born on May 31, 1943, in Waunakee, Wisconsin, the son of Robert and Dorothy (Klein) Koch. Ken served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1967. On August 10, 1967, he married Susan Weisensel in Sun Prairie. Ken worked as a steamfitter with Local 694 his whole career.

He is survived by his sons, Kevin (Tena) Koch and Jeffery Koch; grandchildren, Sarah, Stephanie, Lyn and Jeffrey Jr.; his sisters, Carol Dittberner and Judy (Jerry) Schmudlach; brothers, Fred "Fritz"(Shirley) Koch, David (Barb) Koch and Donald (Deb) Koch; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Susan, and his significant other, Alice Lenihan.

A funeral service will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Sun Prairie Memory Gardens in Sun Prairie. A visitation will be held at the funeral home and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
