Kenneth I. Meyer, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away peacefully in his home on Thanksgiving Day after a courageous fight against Cancer. He was born in La Crosse on April 22, 1928 to Carl and Bessie Meyer. The second of four sons, Ken grew up in Wisconsin Dells where he met the love of his life, Shirley Busse at the Finch Hotel where they both worked. Together they made there lives across the U.S., finally settling in Sun Prairie for the past 38 years where they raised horses and played bridge.  Ken spent many years as a hotel manager before working for the State of Wisconsin from which he retired in 1990.  Ken is preceded in death by both parents and brothers, Arno and Dana. He is survived by his wife Shirley; brother, Harold of Middleton; son and daughter-in-law, Scot and Erin of Watertown and grandchildren Connor and Griffin.  The family wishes to thank all of the wonderful CNA's and RN's of HospiceCare Inc., Dr. Queoff and all the friends and family that visited Ken during this time.  Respecting Kenneth's wishes there will be no services.
