Kevin Krinke

Waunakee/Martinsville-Kevin "Moose" Krinke, age 68, died suddenly on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at a Madison Hospital. He was born on Feb. 1, 1950, in Madison to Marvin and Doris (Bacon) Krinke. Kevin graduated from Waunakee High School and went on to receive his Degree in Technical Education from U.W. Stout and his Master's degree in Industrial Technology from U.W. Platteville. He taught at Wisconsin Heights and McFarland High Schools where he headed the latter's award-winning Tech Ed Dept.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, tall tales and questionable jokes. He was always ready to meet a new friend or pull a prank on an old one. He was affectionately known as the Mayor of Martinsville, where he had resided for the past 25 years. He was an outstanding athlete in football and basketball at Waunakee H.S. where he was first dubbed "Moose".

He is survived by his brothers, Keith (Mary) and Kurt (Lorrie) and many nieces, nephews and grand- nieces/nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marcia.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018, from 10:00 to 12:00 noon at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home, 5785 Hwy Q, Waunakee. A Celebration of Moose's life will follow at Ripp's Bar in Waunakee.
