Kim Woelke

Poynette - Kim Robert Woelke, age 62 passed away at his home on Monday, August 5, 2019. He was born on March 18, 1957 in Madison, Wisconsin, the son of Heinz and Janice (Bringe) Woelke.

On April 25, 1987, Kim was united in marriage to Darci Dee Dunn in downtown Madison at the courthouse. Kim worked for the University of Madison for MDS Swap for 18 years until his retirement in 2017. Over the years, Kim was his children's biggest fan as he traveled and watch them play for the Patriots Hockey team. He was a proud grandfather and would do anything for his grandchildren. His dog, Buddy will always have a special place in his heart. This bond instantly began when he rescued him when they were up north.
In Kim's spare time, he thoroughly enjoyed cooking, BBQing and fishing.

Kim will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Daci Woelke, two children; Dustin Woelke and Mariah Woelke, seven grandchildren; Dustin, Anastacia, Donovan, Brianna, Arianna, Annabella and Gio, four sisters; Jane Ashton, Sue Balthazor, Yvonne Frydenlund and Lynn Daniels and a brother; Jeff. Kim is also survived by many other loving family and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Shane and granddaughter Isabella.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at AMERICAN LEGION POST #271, 130 West Washington Street, Poynette, WI from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
