Kimberly Jewel Williams was born to Darnetta Carter and Leonard Dawson on May 30, 1980.
Kim affectionately known as ""Boo"" or ""Kim Bird,"" was a bubbly and intelligent young lady. Kim enjoyed being around family and friends and lit up the room with her bright, gleaming smile.
Kim attended Sennett Middle School under the guidance of Lois Bell. She then entered West High School where she excelled in her classes and even graduated one year early.
Spending most of her youth at Madison Pentecostal Assembly, Kim was baptized in Jesus name by Bishop Eugene Johnson. She enjoyed singing in the youth choir, ""MPATC,"" (pronounced ""impact"" for Madison Pentecostal Assembly Teen Choir), and having fun with the young people.
Kim was employed at Marriott in Middleton, WI for eight years. When she put on their red uniform jacket, you could see her pride in being the best employee she could be.
Kim has affected many people across the country, hailing from states such as Oklahoma, Virginia, Delaware, Georgia, Michigan, Tennessee, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Kim respected and treasured the loving advice she received from Grandma Velma (deceased), Phyllis, her family, friends and many others close to her.Â
Kim was preceded in death by her dad, LC Dawson, maternal grandparents, Darnell and Bernice Carter, and uncle Darnell, Jr.Â
Kim leaves to cherish her fond memories, the angels of her life: one son Keviante (KV), three daughters, Kyniah, Kamia and Kaleah; friend and fiance, Kevin Hutchins; mother, Darnetta Carter; one sister, Angela Williams; and a brother, Curtis Williams; three aunts, Brenda, Lynn Sue and Salina; two uncles, Nathan (Stephanie), James (Ruby); two nieces, Shanae and Shauna; two nephews, Chris and Carter; three step-sisters, Betty, Dot and Jeanna; a best friend, Tootie; a close friend, Raquel; in addition, a host of many family and friends.
On Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 10:00 am, Funeral services will be held at the Madison Pentecostal Assembly, 5109 E. Buckeye Road with the Bishop Eugene Johnson presiding. A visitation will begin at 9 am until the time of service. Burial will take place immediately following the funeral service at Roselawn Memorial Park, Monona.
