Kirsten Lynne Coan

Kirsten L. Coan, age 37, of Stoughton, passed away on Tuesday February 18, 2025, at Meriter Hospital from complications of pneumonia.

She was born on September 21, 1987, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, WI to Frederick and Katheryn (Keuper) Coan. Kirsten attended school in the Stoughton area School District, graduating from Stoughton High School in 2006. She worked in the service industry until the time of her passing.

She is survived by her son JJ Riley, who was her world; mother Katheryn Coan; sister Courtney (Rory) Severson; her nephews Sealy and Mack Severson who she loved dearly; uncle Robert F. Keuper and his family; and her partner Donald Swenson. She is also survived by several cousins.

Kirsten was preceded in death by her father Frederick Coan, grandparents Frank and Blanche (Craig) Keuper, Edward and Ann (Berwick) Cnare and Richard Coan.
