Lani Kay Welborn

Sun Prairie- Lani Kay Welborn, age 66, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2011 surrounded by her beloved family. She was born on July 18, 1944 in San Diego , CA the daughter of Dwight & Mary (Crozier) Guillotte. She moved to Weed, CA in 1960 where she met and married Coy Welborn. This marriage was blessed with 2 daughters, Wendy Lyn Welborn of Corvallis , OR and Penny Ann Fish of Sun Prairie, WI. Lani enjoyed being with family and friends but got her greatest enjoyment out of being a grandmother to the ""lights of her life"" her 3 grandsons. In her spare time she enjoyed numerous hobbies, including, gardening, knitting, crocheting and stamping. She was a volunteer with the AT& T Pioneers which made care packages for the troops in Iraq and Afganistan, and was part of the ""Elevator Gang"" at the UW football games. She is survived by her daughters, Wendy Lyn Welborn and Penny (Art) Fish; her beloved grandsons, Andrew, Jamie and Austin; numerous cousins and other relatives. Lani was preceded in death by her father, mother and step-father, Harold Chaney. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 550 Lincoln Dr. , Sun Prairie, with Rev. Dr. David J. Berggren officiating. Family will greet friends at the church from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to go to HospiceCare, Inc. 5395 E.
