Larry Richards

Middleton - Larry D. Richards, age 73, died on Wednesday October 19, 2016 at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. He was born on June 27, 1943 in Madison to Robert and Alice (Story) Richards. He married Marlene Endres on February 19, 1966 in Ashton.
Larry worked for a number of years for Yahara Materials. Upon retirement he and Marlene spent many hours at their cabin up North, where they enjoyed time spent with many family and friends. He was a long time member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Ashton.

Survivors include his loving wife and best friend Marlene; daughters Marsha (Tim) Endres; Patty (Ken) Kolste; grandchildren Tara Clemens (Todd), Paige and Brooke Endres, Jonna Ripp, great granddaughter Presley Schmitt; step-grandchildren; William, Casey, and Jade Kolste, two brothers Mike (Lorna) Richards, Tom (Kathy) Richards and sister Carol Zillerreal and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Lucas Ripp, in-laws Albert and Bernadette Endres, sister-in-law Sharon Endres and a brother-in-law Tony Zillerreal.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday Oct 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, 7121 County Truck K Middleton. Rev Tait Schroeder will officiate. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in the church cemetery with full Military Honors.

We would like to say a special thanks to Dr. Catherine James and Dr. Michael Huie and nurse Sandy and all other nurses and staff for the special care given to Larry over the years. We are truly grateful.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the family for a memorial fund to be established in Larry's name.
