Laura Mary Ellen Buskager

Laura Mary Ellen Buskager, age 94 passed away Monday, April 25, 2011 surrounded by her family.

Laura was born in Wonewok on December 16, 1916 the daughter of the late Francis and Ida (Martin) Turner. She was united in marriage to Stanley Edward Buskager on June 23, 1936 in Belvidere, Illinois. Laura resided in Madison and Marshall and since early 2005, in Sun Prairie. She worked for American Family Insurance for 19 � years until retiring in 1979. She enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving children: Duane Buskager of Sun Prairie, Ronald Buskager also of Sun Prairie, Phyllis Fowler (Howie Ostrem) of Deerfield, and Vern (Phyllis) Buskager of Sun Prairie; daughter-in-law, Judy Buskager of Madison; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Barbara; sons, Bradley and Loren; brothers, Howard, Everett and Donald Turner; and sisters, Gwendolyn Hauser, Virgine Olson, and Nona Turner.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, April 29, 2011 at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie. Family will greet friends from 10 am until the time of service. Inurnment will be in Sun Prairie City Cemetery, Sun Prairie.
