Laurie Harring

Laurie Lee Harring, 66, of Belleville, WI, passed away on November 3rd, 2021, surrounded by close family.

She was born on February 26th, 1955, to Harold and Marian Mills (Schultz).  During her childhood, she attended schools located in Racine and Abbotsford, WI, and would graduate from Abbotsford in 1973. Upon graduation, she relocated to the Verona area and found employment at the Carnes Company, where she would work 20+ years and unite her with the love of her life David.

Laurie was united in marriage to David Patrick Harring on October 4th, 1980, at the First Congregational Church in Madison, WI.

The couple would settle in Belleville, WI, raising their two boys Shane and Brian.  She loved her home and the memories of raising her children that came with it.  Laurie found great happiness spending time with family and was especially fond of trips to Rhinelander and Bruce, WI.  She loved nature and spending time at the State parks as the family would create many great memories camping over the years. Laurie was an animal lover and always had beloved pets in the household.  She chose a private life but was loved dearly by those close to her.

Laurie is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, David Harring of Belleville, WI; a son, Shane (Rebecca) Harring of Mazomanie, WI; a son, Brian (Natalie) Harring of Seattle, WA; two great-grandchildren, Amelea and Violet Harring; a brother, Ken (Francoise) Mills, Canada; a mother-in-law, Reta Harring of Madison, WI; a sister-in-law, Nancy Iskander, CA; a brother-in-law, Mark (Linda) Harring of Oregon, WI; a sister-in-law, Judy (Steve) Hill, MN; and several nieces and nephews on the Harring side.

Laurie was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Marian Mills of Abbotsford, WI; a brother, Steven Mills; a very special aunt, Muriel Hughes of Rhinelander, WI; dear aunt and uncle, Dolly and Ralph Jenkins of Bruce, WI; dear grandmother-in-law, Mabel Jarnagin of Madison, WI; a very special aunt-in-law, Lois Hindhede of Madison, WI, and a very close sister-in-law, Jane Harring of Madison, WI.

The family will hold a celebration of life during the spring/summer of 2022.
