Laurina Elizabeth Ungrodt

Laurina E. Ungrodt, age 97, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 12, 2010 at Attic Angel Place in Middleton.   She was born September 16, 1913 the daughter of William and Ella (Mielke) Tesch.   Laurina was united in marriage to Herbert ""Hub"" Ungrodt on June 22, 1935, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wausau. She worked as a bridal consultant, and also in other retail sales positions. Laurina was a very active church member all of her life.    She enjoyed travel, and had many friends in both the Wausau and Madison area.   Laurina is survived by her daughter, Jane (Chuck) Conklin, daughter-in-laws, Jan Parks, and Lyn Ungrodt, 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Virginia Butler.    She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Herbert Hub"" Ungrodt, and two sons, Joel and Dan Ungrodt.   A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Rd., Madison, WI., with visitation from noon until the time of service.    Entombment will take place at Rest Lawn Memorial Park in Wausau.
