Laverne's family includes husband, William O. Reek (deceased 1944); children, Ron Reek (deceased), Bill Reek, Jackie (Reek) Clementi, (Phil Clementi); grandchildren, Phil (Karen Bell), Steve, Todd Clementi, Renee', Rhonda Reek; great-grandchildren, Vince, Chris Bell-Clementi, Crystal, Brittany Reek; great-great-grandchild, Avianna Rodriquez; parents, Arthur and Anna Pulvermacher (deceased); brothers, Robert (deceased) Paul, Jim Pulvermacher; and sister, Maryann Waldron (deceased).

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 401 S. Owen Drive, on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, at 12 Noon with Monsignor Kenneth Fielder officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of Mass. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.

""A SAFE PLACE TO FALL"" - When we were small we had it all. We always had A SAFE PLACE TO FALL. When we were small we had our Mom, We'd run around, have lots of fun. We came to Mom to rest our head. Moms are always softer then a bed. Mom would hold us, give us a break. She was always there for us to take. Mom had very long auburn hair, it hung in back, and we were there. When we were riding in the car, Especially when we traveled far, We'd wrap our fingers in the curls, and gently float within the swirls. Now our Mom is very small, she still gives us A SAFE PLACE TO FALL. Our Grandma is sending out a call, to tell our Mom, SHE, now has A SAFE PLACE TO FALL. So Mom, when you are ready we'll understand, Just reach out and take Grandma's hand. She has for you A SAFE PLACE TO FALL. Mom has heard Grandma's call, She has reached her SAFE PLACE TO FALL.
