Lenna May Quam

Stoughton- Lenna May Quam, aged 89, died peacefully on Thursday August 12, 2010 in the Skaalen Home.    She was well known for her decades of individually painted, original Christmas cards and other water-color art.  Lenna was also loved for her impish sense of humor, which she displayed to the very end of her life.   She is survived by her sister, Jane Rich, of Baltimore MD, her daughter Susan (Allan Douglas) of Ottawa Canada, and her sons, Eric (Trina) of Sidney IL, and Peter (Lee Ann) of Winnemucca NV.  Lenna is also further by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years Carrol A. (Kelly) Quam.   Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at First Lutheran Church, 310 E. Washington St., Stoughton, with Rev. Richard Halom officiating.  Burial will follow Eastside Lutheran Cemetery.  Friends may greet the family from 1:00 PM until the time of service on Tuesday.
